CR84FN12 - I XOXO Color Challenges!

Just LOOK at the YUMMY colors we have for you this week!  I hope you are inspired by this graphic for CR84FN12 and also by the FAB cards made by our design team.  Starting in February, we are going to pick one person who plays regularly to be our Guest Designer for one month!  How EXCITING is that?  So play often!
Here is my card for this week:

My card was designed around two things.  First, I am in LOVE with my new Hero Arts stamp ~ Lace Frame.  I LOVE how it looks stamped with white embossing powder and then cut out and placed on the lavendar mat!  (Enlarge the photo and you will see I used a PTI damask impression plate to give the paper some subtle texture).  The second thing is Flowers!  I am in LOVE with my new McGill Paper Blossoms punches!  If you haven't seen them before, they are punches with 4 differnt size petals and you make your own flowers!  Honestly MOST of the ladies I know thought it was too tedius to make them at first, but then they saw the end result and there were lots of OOHS and AWWWHS!  I LOVE how you can make the flowers any color you want to match your card!  I sprayed some Perfect Pearls on them but had to swap out two of my flowers because they didn't photograph well and looked much prettier in person!  Live and Learn!  I also added a border made from a Spellbinder's borderabilities and a pink seam binding bow with a jewel in the center.
Well I hope you like my card and decide to come play along!  Go see what the other members of the design team have made for you and leave us some love!  We LOVE to hear from you!

Sue, only you can make lavender an appealing colour!! I may have to change my purple colour slightly as I gave all my blue/purple SU card to a friend because I really don't like it..... However I will give it a try

Sue, your card is glowing! I love it--the colors this week are too pretty!! I have some of those punches that I haven't tried yet--a gift from a friend who knows how I love to make my own embellishments (and a book to go with them). Maybe this is a good week to try them! And that HA stamp--I thought it was a die cut--it's so very pretty. Placing your flowers on top with that soft Kraft showing through is a lovely, lovely look!!
