JUGS 42 - Color Challenge! Happy Birthday Maria!

With only 3 hours left to post, I created this card and uploaded it for this weeks JUGS 42 Color Challenge! Whoo Hoo!! I did something a little out of the norm for me but that's what makes challenges so much fun!
Here is my SU Tree that I embossed with white powder because the ink just wasn't strong enough on the blue paper background. I used PTI orange (they call them brown but they're orange) rhinestones and tiny green rain dots from CLOUD9 Designs. I also used the ribbon technique I learned this weekend at CKC Houston. LOVE it! So much easier than tieing the "perfect" bow!!!

Here's my entire card. The blue and green are designer papers. I like how the green looks like fabric and the blue is crackled. Email me if you have any other ????? cause I'm rushing to post this and go to a presentation on organization from someone who hosts a show on TLC! How much fun! And there is wine involved! Happy Birthday Maria!

When i saw this card first, BEFORE reading your description on your card, i saw GREEN as a part of GRASS! :-) I could see a big tree, in a beautiful grass field! I luv Trees & tree stamps!... And the blue background paper with crackle makes a great sky scene! Real Sky is hardly ever just in one blue color, and this background paper is a very nice choice! ...me, too, i've always been a die-hard Card maker, even just to say "hello", no special occasion :-)

I started a card for this challenge then I had a couple rough days and simply didn't have the energy to finish before the deadline. Some great colors to work with. Love what you did with your tree in white and the bling! Really pretty!
