I used the dry embossing challenge for a Birthday Card for Dana from JUGS #7,
the design from Mojo Monday #133, and the acetate challenge from Crazy4Challenges Week 11 to make this card for the Fabulous Dana! Dana was one of the first bloggers who added my blog as a favorite and I felt so honored! The least I could do is make a card for her. I wish I could mail it to her!I just layered and layered and layered PTI paper to replicate the sketch. I don't like to see any of the glue on the undersides of the acetate so I glued backs on everything.
It's kind of easier to see how there are layers on both sides of the acetate with these next pics. I read somewhere that Dana likes color (I think Kristin said that!) so I used a lot of color.
I kind of cheated with my sentiment on the outside. I JUST ordered the PTI set today called Signature Greetings because I LOVE this sentiment so I copied the page and cut it out. I think it's okay cause I paid for the set???!!! I think in real life they are going to be HUGE so maybe they'll make a smaller font version???
I used three different embossing folders to create all of the effects and a nestabilities to highlight my sentiment inside. (I heard Dana likes the insides decorated, too!
I embossed the little butterflies by placing them inside my Cuttlebug butterfly embossing folder so I could create embossed swirls. Hope you have a Fabulous Birthday, Dana! In fact, you get cards celebrating YOU all week!

Sue, you are such a sweetheart! Dana would absolutely ADORE this card with all the color (yes, that was me) and the interior decoration :O) You SHOULD send it to her! Email me and I'll send you her address. She hasn't been feeling 100% this week so I think some additional belated birthday wishes might perk her up! Such a beautiful card, and I love how warm your post for Dana's birthday is. Thank you also for taking the time to comment on many of the other submissions for our challenge! Hey Sue, me again! I am finally feeling myself and wanted to re-comment on your super sweet post and gorgeous birthday card you made. I was so out of it with the swine flu that I didn't even notice the wonderful acetate base you used or much of anything. So I apoligize for not seeing everything the first time but I can see clearly now, as the song says :), and this card is quite wonderful. Thanks girlie!
