I am still away but wanted to share a card I made for a very dear friend who moved away from our neighborhood and closer to the beach. I used Prima's Garden Gable collection which is so Beautiful and full of bird houses.
Here it is ~ flat for mailing:
I used a 6x6 paper pad to paper piece this card from various patterns. The piece that says THE BIRD was actually the border you trim off of the top of the paper!
I stamped the butterfly with a Finnabair stamp on a scrap and it looks water colored. I added some clear gloss gel and sprinkled some glitter to give it shine. The tag is a good ole Martha Stewart tag that they are now selling in Hobby Lobby! I punched the our home circle out of a tag from this Prima collection. I cut the bird house out of a piece of paper from this pad and added glossy accents to the circle window.
I hope you like it!
My friend certainly did!
