I KNOW I say this EVERY week but aren't these colors just YUMMY! Thank you Martha! Check out the DT cards (listed in my sidebar) and say THANKS to Silke Ledlow who has been our Guest Designer for April! She Has been FABULOUS!

YES, the red roses in the graphic just SCREAMED to me ~ Make me! Make me! So I made a BEAUTIFUL red rose and clear embossed the edges! I cut out leaves with the PTI Sending You die cut. folded them lengthwise and then accordian pleated them. (Anyone who took the flowers class at Archivers will know exactly what I mean!) I mounted the flower on a Martha Stewart doily label in honor of her pics!
Then I stamped the Hero Arts Starburst lace in aqua on white and then clear embossed it for shine. Let me tell you it wasn't fun cutting it out but I did it and mounted it a little off the right side of the card and cut it. Then I added aqua bling!!!
Here's my card this week:

I used the double banner die and stamped and cut out a sentiment from PTI Around and About sentiments. The For You is a PTI postage die and stamp and the sentiment is from Tiny tags.

Did you notice the red and white background? I lightly inked the poked out edges of my Cuttlebug Damask embossing folder, put a piece of white cardstock CAREFULLY inside it, and ran it through the Cuttlebug. I saw this technique on someone's blog (can't remember in my old age ~ Sorry!) and I LOVE how it turned out! Then I stitched the white onto the red and adhered it to the aqua.
I Hope you Like it!!
