I Made a card using two FABULOUS Challenges. I LOVE the sketch at Mojo Monday #139 because it is a design I never would have done by myself and I used the theme challenge from Pals Paper Arts #43 to commemorate Memorial Day. Thank you for choosing this theme! Here is the card I created:I pulled out my mulberry paper which I LOVE and don't use very often. It has silver specks in in and reminded me of the fabric of the flag. I ran some red and white PTI paper through my crimper to add ridges and texture. I printed the sentiment (which I keep singing by the way!!!) on cardstock and distressed the edges. The buttons are all stash from JoAnns. Trick - I had to pierce holes in the top of the Kraft card and make tiny slots in the bottom so I could use the silver elastic. The mulberry is too fine - especially after you take water and distress the edges - to wrap the strands around. Okay, I'm still singing by the way!!!
